The Korean International Circuit is located in Yeongam County of South-Korea. The international airport of South-Korea is located in its capital Seoul: Incheon International Airport. This airport is quite far from the Korean International Circuit. If you fly to Incheon Airport, you can transfer there to a domestic flight to Gwanju Airport. From there you can take a bus at the Intercity Terminal to Mokpo.
Another possibility is to travel by taxi from Gwanju Airport, which is also the easiest and cheapest way of travelling around South-Korea. You can find a taxi stand right outside the airport, or you can just hail one on the street. There are also many drivers who speak English. The cheapest taxis have a grey or silver color. Note that in South-Korea you are expected to share your taxi with someone going in the same direction when travelling alone.
Car rental is also possible, but this is not recommended due to the crowded traffic that is hard to understand for foreigners.
Accommodation
There are not many hotels to find in the area near the circuit. The nearest hotels are in Gwanju, but it is recommended to stay in Seoul. This city is friendlier for tourists and has more hotels to offer. Click on the links to find a hotel that suits you. |
