Circuit Interlagos is located in the city of São Paolo in Brazil. It is originally called Autódromo José Carlos Pace and it is part of the Interlagos complex. The circuit is always referred to as Interlagos and known as the venue for the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The Interlagos circuit has a length of 4,309 km and 15 turns. It has a unique layout as the outer section is wide and the inner section tight. It is one of the most difficult circuits on the Formula 1 calendar and runs in an anti-clockwise direction. One of its turns is named after Ayrton Senna. |
